feeling good

birds flying high you know how i feel

sun in the sky you know how i feel

breeze driftin’ on by you know how i feel

it’s a new dawn

it’s a new day

it’s a new life for me

-nina simone, feeling good

it’s a new day for you, too, my little friend!

i hope you enjoy the rest of your day on trees and grass, and find a lot of tasty acorns and nuts.

i’m looking forward to see you every morning, you know how i feel!

me at the museum you in the wintergardens

nobody feels old at the museum

nobody feels cold in the wintergardens

we’ll roll on and roll on

cutting it fine with the clock on

we’ll persevere

carry on working there

me in the museum

and you in the wintergardens

-tiny ruins, me in the museum you in the wintergardens

every morning is better with a walk.

and every morning walk is better with the birds. whether they are in the sky or on the ground i’m always happy when i see them near me.

off to the museum, then!

thank you for the music

so i say

thank you for the music, the songs i’m singing

thanks for all the joy they’re bringing

who can live without it, i ask in all honesty

what would life be?

without a song or a dance what are we?

so i say thank you for the music

for giving it to me

– abba, thank you for the music

singing to my vegan mini pumpkin pies: wait for a few more hours, until the dinner is over.

happy vegan thanksgiving!

the sweetest thing

Blue-eyed boy meets a brown-eyed girl

Oh oh oh, the sweetest thing

You can sew it up but you still see the tear

Oh oh oh, the sweetest thing

Baby’s got blue skies up ahead

But in this I’m a rain cloud

Ours is a stormy kind of love

Oh oh oh, the sweetest thing

Oh oh oh, the sweetest thing

-u2, the sweetest thing

philly..  cupcakes.. vegan..

ours is a stormy kind of love, yum!

smashing pumpkins

tonight, so bright

we’ll crucify the insincere tonight

we’ll make things right, we’ll feel it all tonight

we’ll find a way to offer up the night tonight

the indescribable moments of your life tonight

the impossible is possible tonight

believe in me as i believe in you, tonight.

-smashing pumpkins, tonight, tonight

i’m working on Peirce’s semiotics for a while and it takes all of my time. plus, i’m travelling again. but this doesn’t mean that i didn’t have fun on halloween.

so, this is my very late, post-halloween post while sipping my green apple-kiwi smoothie.

i’m looking for new ways for using pumpkins, in recipes, of course. any ideas are welcome!
